  1. OK — been using this thing for about a few months now and I keep coming back, reckon I’d chuck my thoughts in since someone asked me the other day. I’m in the UK, mainly bet football and racing, a fiver here and there, so take it how you like.

The reason I started using it was genuinely a bit daft — I never could work out what an e/w return would be once you get five places instead of three. Basically I’d wing it and then be surprised. These days I stick my stake in before I place anything, even the boring singles.

The single bet calculator tool is the part I’m on daily — type in your stake, the odds and it spits out returns instantly, fractional or decimal, doesn’t matter. Same tool covers the multiples — doubles and trebles maths, a lucky 15, yankees, which is where most people I know lose track. Have a go yourself, it lives at trebles bet and it’s free with no account nonsense.

What actually shifted things for me were the geekier bits. There’s an implied probability thing that shows the overround, and there’s the kelly criterion calculator — I stick to fractional kelly since full stakes are far too aggressive. Dutching calculator is decent if I’m splitting a race.

Couple of gripes. The design is pretty plain — no polish, it’s clearly function over form. Phone-wise it works though the lucky 63 breakdown are a squeeze. There’s no proper app, it’s a website and that’s it — fine by me but you asked.

Right, that’s me. Costs nowt, not plastered in adverts, does the job. If you honestly does the maths on paper, have a look — saved me a fair few dumb bets I’d have regretted.
